I'm no color expert and YMMV, but I recently got about 7 months out of it. Stored without air in softpacks and separate bleach and fix.
It's a 500ml kit for up to 14 rolls and now at my 12th roll (and 9 months in) I begin to see some serious degradation in quality (mostly strange color shifting).
So either by time or by exhaustion, I can't really tell. At 7 months and roll number 10 or 11 all was still working pretty well for me.
Not too bad I think!

That's what I was talking about, the liquid kit.
Half a liter liquid chemistry (C41) Bottles are opened and chemistry is used to develop a roll, and after that the chemistry remains usable for seven months?
I don't really understand
According to the instructions for use, it is supposed to remain usable for a period of 6 weeks and a maximum of 8 weeks,,
I am really very surprised..
How can these bottles remain after being opened and used, how can they remain usable for seven months.,,?
There seems to be a misunderstanding.

It's just my experience with this kit. YMMV.
What's your experience?

In my experience, its a few months with protectan. It seems to vary but around 6 months. When part c goes brown it's bad.

I used in the past Digibase kit with Rollei or Compard label and I found it had an excellent shelf life. You can have the CD agent (developer part C) opened without any special care for about 1-2 months. The most sensitive concentrate after the CD agent is the fixer and it can last 6 months also without special care. I don't think there is any keeping problem with the rest of concentrates (bleach, dev starter, dev part A and B).

I think Digibase is the best C-41 amateur kit available in Europe. Good choice!

I have a small query.
This kit has a capacity of 500 ml, as I understand it.
Is the crutch capacity of 500 ml, or the final solution (working solution) after dilution?

It is the working solution volume.
Hello halfman brother.
I really don't know, I got confused.
If we are talking about the shelf life of liquid concentrates, then I can understand that it has a long shelf life.
But if these concentrates are diluted, as far as I know that the life span is only from one and a half to two months.
Am I getting it right or am I misunderstanding?

I store only the developer as working solution, the bleach and fixer as concentrates mixed when needed.

In my experience CD-4 concentrate and developer working solution have a similar shelf life kept under the same conditions.
