Shelf Life of Unopened Ilford Ilfotec DDX?

What is the shelf life of an unopened bottle of Ilford Ilfotec DDX? Could it by any chance extend to 3 to 4 years?

It might be worthwhile contacting Ilford on this one. I suspect that from manufacture to delivery to retailer then as stock on the shelf it must stretch to 1-2 years but this is an assumption on my part. I know that by decanting into a wine box I have been able to use DDX for 12 months so 3-4 years unopened may well be possible.

2 to 3 Years unopened ( sealed ) should be aok.

If you are worried of if has not been stored well always test.

I've used DDX that was black and looked like sludge...and it worked perfectly..

I would have no doubts it would be fine unopened
