Shelby Lee Adams (and Me!) in March 2010 Smithsonian

A plug for Shelby and a shamless one for me.

Just got my comp copies of the March issue of Smithsonian in the mail today in which there is an article on Shelby's photograph from 1990 entitled "The Vigil". It's a 3-page spread in the "Indellible Images" section and is quite nice.

I am honored to have a portrait I did of Shelby at last Year's Photostock gathering included in the article as well. It is my first published collodion piece and even though a small reproduction, it is pretty exciting for me.
