I think my redscale photos aren't very well liked. I think they're neat

I like it too. It's got that depth of field that almost makes it look unnatural. The floor looks like it's a macro shot so the tire seems like it's stuck on, not part of the original... if you know what I mean.

This (in the greenhouse, the 1st one) is one of a few that were the very first I ever shot with my Hasselblad. My kind neighbor never chases me off (like my kids do) when I appear with my camera. This hasn't gotten any attention, while I like it.

Oh yes, and there's another of him (shelling peas) that I really like, but I think others look at it as a dud. The one with the strong shadows - I like it. A photographer said to me, "imagine it without the shadows". I think it's partly the shadows that make me like it!

Dude, "photos that no one else likes" is the major theme of my work

I like this picture of Maracas Beach, Trinidad, but nobody else does. I used a Voigtlander Bessa R with 35mm Ultron lens, and a red filter. Film was TMX shot at 200.

I get a lot of, "They still make black and white film?" comments. Or, "You went to the beach to take black and white pictures??!"

I had the same thought as JGCull--what's not to like about that?

I like your first one very much, allthough I think a little different print is needed to make it pop. The second one, I dont like like so much initially... but its weird cause when i see the thumbnail i see the patterns in the shadows and it really catches my eye.. But then when I see the full size i focus more on the man and the can.

I like this very much! The looks on those kids faces in the front are terrific!
Allthough I kinda like the policeman in the top right, I think you should crop it down to focus on the kids.

All the attachments and my "American Street" series haven't been well received. Can't quite place why. I really enjoy the images, and others from the various series (Save for the street one) have been quite popular...

darwin, Thank you. I'd love to hear tips for printing the first one.

Walter.
Beautiful abstractions.
Crop the foot and let your highlights up a bit on the first one.
Shoot more like this, I don't think images like these can be too strong on their own.

I like all of these, but few or no one else does.
Oh well, as long as I'm happy with them myself I don't care (much)
