Looking forward to meeting you.

Looking to meet you too. I saw the SP with a guy twirling fire or something like that and thought about all those roman candles I have in my garage I hope to bring to Photostock. Might make a real fine fireball SP.

Share an analog self portrait.

Can we please have posts in English? I don't think many APUG members speak Dutch.

Don't know what this has to do with the thread but here goes. Which English are you speaking of? Here in Louisiana, at least five different kinds of English is spoken. Cajun English, Modified Gulla English, Red Neck English, American Southern English and Texan. Of course there are some who have emigrated from England. They are the most difficult for us to understand......Regards

Very nice. I haven't done that yet, a self portrait with a pinhole camera. Must do so sometimes ...

That's me!

NedL entered this self portait in last months (there was a url link here which no longer exists). The theme was "how to catch a light beam". He made this with a pinhole camera on Polaroid film after waiting 19 days for the right circumstances. I really love this image!

I'm still kind of amazed and confused how you were able to get a pinhole image that was not all blurry from the motion of your body, all my pinhole images are 2-3 minutes long in bright sunlight...

I guess I'm well-practiced doing this sort of thing, and the exposure time was nearly ideal for such a task: long enough that I can reach, open the shutter and then freeze my "pose", but not so long that my posture starts to sag and body movements start to fuzz things out. In other words, I think this was about an 8 second exposure. Bracing myself by leaning on a solid surface was obviously helpful as well. The Nopo pinhole is F140, so its not nearly as small an f-stop as many cameras of this sort, and I was using HP5 at 320 ASA in strong sunlight (diffused by greenhouse plastic, though) Does that shed any light on the process?

If you still have the R4s you could reshoot this portrait again after 20 years.
Red socks are still available

This is me, testing a Woca 120GF (Holga before it was called Holga, but with a glass lens) with Fomapan 100 to be developed in Caffenol-C-M. I just turned the camera on myself to complete the film:
