Yes, I remember well. I always got a kick out of what my father labeled "so called" higher education folks when they screwed up. He used to say, "Ahh, book smart, common sense dumb"! As if uneducated folks were given a pass for doing something stupid. I always like what the writer Mark Twain wrote of his fater and it mirrors my experience growing up in real life. Here it is:
"When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years."--Mark Twain
