I just picked up a brick of 10 rolls of this FP3 stuff off eBay, for $10.88. That's just a little over $1 American per roll! I've never found fresh film for a cheaper price.
It's a fake listing. I did the same thing warily, hoping for the chance it was real but thinking that even if it is fake I'd get my money back.

The listing for the one I bought was removed by ebay and I was issued a refund. Bummer. Knew it was too good to be true.

Point me to the nearest black market here in the Great Lake states! I need a kilo of sugar, a left boot, three spoons and a vacuum tube for my shortwave. I have a half bag of ball-bearings, a 8x8 sheet of leather and a gallbladder from my neighbors goat..

its called EBAY and Cragislist

I am confused here as a result of subsequent posts When you say "picked up" do you mean that you paid $10.88 and now have in your hand 10 rolls so it wasn't fake in your case?

Is this on Ebay?

Yes! It is! Amazing! I'm going to buy a few packs...worth the risk. This comes to what? 0.89 for a roll? Is this the cheapest film on the market?

Happy Days!

Edit: One pack allowed at a time...welp, I'll get from the two sellers.

Those cheap listings look really fake. The sellers have random character usernames with suspiciously similar feedback all from private buyers.

I have some from a different seller on its way. Should be somewhere close to California by now.

there is a guy on LF forum who supposedly has contacts with the manufacturer. he is selling 10 roll packs for $32 plus shipping which seems much more real. ebay scams are all over the place. if its to goods to be true, it usually is.

Well, I'll let you know how it works out. I ordered about 30 rolls and if I get it, I get it.

It doesn't look too good to be true for the reason that this is around the old price of the stuff. I doubt they're selling this film for $5 a roll in China.

The one I bought was removed the next day. 10.88 for 10 rolls, if I remember correctly.

Ok. So no risk in putting down a little money. If listing gets removed ebay will refund? No worries then.

Yep, that was my thinking too.

But actually, ebay didn't refund me automatically. A day after placing the order, I saw that it was cancelled and the posting removed (even after getting a notification that the film shipped). I checked my bank account, charge still there with no refund. So, I contacted ebay and then they refunded me. So, be sure to keep an eye on it so you don't forget that you even placed the order. I'm sure that's how the poster of the listing hoped to make their money.

A pity that Kenny Harrelson hasn't been able to reply. He says he picked up a brick of 10. I took the phrase "picked up" to mean that he actually had received the brick. Does "pick up" simply mean he had paid for 10 expecting to receive them?

I would caution against buying it from ebay, if the prices seem abnormally low. ~$2.50 a roll is what the market is likely at.
Also, don't buy it if the seller won't ship it in unopened boxes - if they say it comes without the boxes, you have no way to verify expiry date. If you're comfortable with that risk, ensure that the silver packets do not have a triangle notch cut out of them. The factory sold a bad batch with print-through but marked the packets with a triangular notch so that people would know what they were getting.

I would be willing to bet Kenny doesn't have "film in hand" and it's a scam. There is a lot of this bogus seller listings stuff going on now with eBay and not just film either. If it sounds to good to be true it..............................! Well, we all know the rest of that sentence. JohnW

You may well be right John. On checking again, his post was the first to announce purchase at this price so he may have fallen victim to a scam. It was not unfortunately in reply to others citing scam whereby we could more easily infer a genuine sale. Still his reply would be welcome

In the theme of good deals though, I got a box of 50 sheets of 2.25x3.25 Arista EDU 100 film marked as "used" by Amazon Warehouse for $11. Figured it was worth the risk. I just got it today, and the seal on the box had been broken but the black bag inside had not been touched. Developed a single unexposed sheet and there was no fogging at all. This film retails for $39, so I'm pretty happy with that deal!

Yes, now that's a pretty good deal. Not many of us shoot 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film anymore. I have a box of Efke 25 that I treat like gold. I sure miss that film, but life goes on. JohnW

Well, I can see why no that many people shoot that format. It’s the hassle of sheet film without the benefits of a big 4x5 neg. Plus, there are only 4 emulsions available and they’re more expensive than shooting roll film.

I started with it because but I bought a Busch Pressman with some film holders and don’t have a way to shoot any other format of film with it. But, I’m actually having a good bit of fun! I like that I can shoot one or 4 or 5 frames here and there and develop them without having to shoot a whole roll.

Check the big auction site far an "adapt-a-roll 620" in 2 1/4 x 3 1/4. It will slide into your cameras spring back and with a little work you can then use roll film. They usually sell for around $30.00. I have used sheet film in old folding cameras like the Voigtlander Avus and Kodak Recomar, but now just use it with my Kodak Medalist I & II. JohnW

Sunday night.

One seller was taken down but the other two are still up.

Not sure how to dispute with the seller who was taken down. Also one of the sellers claims to have shipped.

There's still one seller offering 10 rolls for $10.99 USD on the bay.

Any successful purchasers on here?

My film is out for delivery today. I sure didn't get a deal like that, but it came from a seller with 10k+ feedback and free shipping.
