This is one area where I am tempted to buy some GP3 film. On the big auction site their large format sheet film is reasonably priced and is sizes you don't find easily. If I didn't already have a fairly good stock of 8X10 I would certainly give it a try. I think it would be ideal for pyro developers like WD2D+ or PMK.. It's also tempting me to build a folding box style camera in 20X24 size and buy some of their 20X24 film. Now that would make some truly awesome contact prints, but I have far to many irons in the fire at the moment so 20X24 is just a thought for now. JohnWI've only ever used their sheet film in both 4x5 and 8x10. I have no complaints... Except it's got horrible reciprocity.

Surprise surprise
There is other seller on the internet selling GP3 220 directly from china at USD $11,80 per roll (if you buy 10 rolls)... compare this with the $17,99 "shop.shjcfilm.com" wants to charge per roll...
That's a price where it starts becoming reasonable...
But that's UnEtHiCaL!
Kidding aside, that's how the price on the 120 is going to drop like a stone. I doubt that the film is going for 8.99 a roll in Beijing or Shanghai or wherever.
Come on sing along with me
I found the place provides GP
strip a buck or two from GP Three
you will never gonna charge us more, yeah
Oh yea, price is dropping like a stone
(...)
Never, never, my darling
Never you'll pay some more
Never, never, my darling
Never you'll pay some more
Ever, forever, my darling
GP three is dropping like a stone

HiGP3 Offical Account, Welcome at Apug!
I find it great that you joined. And I hope that you stay with us, reply on inquiries and not refrain to just promote a product and not be heard otherwise, as seen by your competitors here.
As this thread has shown the reason so far to buy Shanghai Film was just its low price. At least to my understanding. Here in Germany that film seems to have been rather unknown. And to me it is not clear in how much your current GP3 differs from it.
The price advantage seems gone though. You offer your GP3 in 100' at your shop at $79.99.
Here I can get films from one of the major retailers in 100' from Foma, Agfa, Harman at 43.80$, 53.53$, 56.75$ respectively. You will understand that I am not that much trickled to buy your GP3.
Unless... it gives me something different enough to make me pay that premium. I thus shall wait for what others will report on the GP3.
Concerning a offer where you indeed are different, type 220 conversion, Agulliver made a good statement in post #81.
Again, Thanks for ordering, and if any issue or feedback for film, we are happen to solve any problem for you.I'm going to report back.
I've got some rolls of GP3 a few years ago with a camera purchase. I liked their look, but there was a problem that the numbers of the backing paper (120) went into the picture. I hope that is resolved (I've also ordered 120 film), and it shouldn't be a problem with 220 film.
could I know which item we marked as $79.99 for?
No,that's the offical store, and the price is for 35mm film but 30.5m size.Well, now I am really puzzled.
Who am I talking with? Are there several entities on the net? Is there a fake shop?
Just 2min ago I took this screenshot, I included the URL above:

I believe they may repack our film and marked as their brand. To complement that information: CatLABS X 80 rolls have a "SHANGHAI" label on the end-of-roll paper. There is a picture here:

Thanks
All 10 rolls I bought had scratches all over them, and uneven emulsion coating.
Note - I used this same camera - GW690III - on the same day with other film with zero issues. This is how all the Shanghai 220 rolls came out.

Hi, we are starting investigate this SRP,due to this is a offical shop, we cannot do a cheapest price which compare with smuggled goods price. we need also consider each country's distributor who paid tax. but we did hear from your side. and we will support our distributors in our end and make the SRP down to reduce gap. but that cannot avoid all of them. Hope we can do our best to bring bargain film with good service and quality to all.Surprise surprise
