Just saw this thread. I'm in Littleton. Love to meet up with you all. Saturday evenings are generally out for me because of shows with my band -- unless y'all want to try and talk over some loud music.

Hi gang,

I live in Parker but I have a shoot space in Denver at I25 & I70 behind the National Western Complex Center. I would be more than happy to offer that up as a meeting/shoot space if anyone is interested. CJ is familiar with it, she can offer suggestions as to whether she thinks it would work or not. If interested and a date is established I can mark it down. Just let me know.

Ed in Loveland here. I'm in pretty much anytime. Nursing a bum shoulder so cant work...but I can shoot! Weekends or weekdays I have a few "new" cameras to play with.

Mrwestphal, your starting to sound like my wife! What I've actually been doing is selling off a bunch of old stuff I have on Ebay. Its amazing what people pay for old bicycle parts!

I know that! I just sold almost $1000 in old film from my freezer and some odds and ends camera stuff laying around to fund a couple of Mamiya 7 lens.

Tim's studio is a great place to meet up if you're into portrait / model type photography. Actually, it's a cool place for pretty much anything. The added bonus is that it's very close to downtown for good food and street / architectural shooting.

Okay, sounds like we have a place to meet up, thanks Tim. Now let's pick a date. Thursday nights or Saturday morning/afternoons are good for me. How about the rest of you?

Thursday nights are bad for me -- school-age children, and I frequently sing at the cabaret on Thursdays. Saturday mornings are good for me, as are Sunday afternoons.

When we get a date (plan ahead so I can mark it on the calendar as I share the space with another photographer) I will send out directions.

Probably won't make the 28th, as it's my daughter's birthday. (Well, sort of. She's actually on the 29th, which over course doesn't happen this year.) I could do the 7th.

Okay, how about the 7th then at say 10:00 am? Plan on hanging at Mikes place (if he can clear it with is studio mate), bring your camera, and a couple of prints. We can chat, share our prints, and go out and shoot or stay in and shoot in Mikes place (depends on Mike). Then we can share our images of the get together later online here at apug. That is my suggestion please feel free to add, delete, or comment anything. Other ideas are encouraged.
