I have recently aquired a Durst Labometer and an calibrating it for portra 160VC with Kodak Endura as my standard paper. I have posted 3 images below, from left to right ;
- Scan of grey card and colour swatch un daylight used as the calibration shot-seems OK, a little dull but OK.

- A scan of a negative I chose at random to check the calibration. It is light and insipid but without colour casts in the sky.

- A print of the same neg done on the Labometer. It seems a little dark.

My questions are as follows;
Do you think the print of the scanned neg is overly dark or is it just an exposure problem with the metering on the sky ?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to adjustments I should make in my 'standard' ?

Thanks - Colour is fun but I need to learn a lot !

Look at the door. In the last pic it's way too dark. Also looks like a colour cast on that door. You cropped the two prints differently. :confused: Makes it a little tougher to compare.

Seems a bit late...
Isn't this the classic case of needing someone who has successfully calibrated this particular analyser to write a short article on it that can be referred to by any members who obtain such an analyser?

This may not solve everything but at least it forms a platform to which the person can refer should he be unable to do the calibration.

This type of thread falls into the Flying Dutchman category i.e. a thread that is condemned to sail the seven seas for all eternity
