How bad/dangerous is it to use metal (stainless steel) trays when selenium toning negatives or prints? Toner instruction sheets state to not use metal trays. I never read the instructions!
I've been using metal trays with selenium toner for years! I also use a metal "jug" to bring toner up to temperature (usually 75F or higher) by filling this "jug" with toner and then placing the "jug" inside a bucket/container with hot water.
I hope I am not dying anytime soon.
