Hi

I'm curious about coffee or tea, red wine toning of fiber paper print.

I don't think that there is an archival value to do with this, but if I use selenium toning, after or before, organic toning. Can I expect a good permanence for the print?

Have you experienced this approch?

Any tips are welcomed.

Regards

Using coffee or tea is going to work more as a dye than a tone. It works with the paper, as opposed to the silver (at least, in my experience).

Selenium toning does work with the silver and enhances permanence. It shouldn't matter whether it is done before or after dying with coffee or tea.

Cheers-

george
