Just received my first light meter. Never used one other than in camera. Bought it based on decent reviews here, and claims that it is easy to use.

Must say, that I agree. Only used the manual for three things, figure out how to get the center button to lock, figure out what the "High" card was for, and how to use it, and attempted to find an explanation for the optional "direct read" cards. Actually found a much better explanation here on APUG.

I was a little concerned about low-light performance due to some comments here. I just tried it out inside, with curtains partially drawn, under my desk, and it registered, so it will probably work quite well for my uses.

Very intuitive. Think I'll like it.
