Hello,

Does anyone here have any unexposed Kodachrome 25 or 64 with an early 2000's expiry date that they have kept in deep freeze since purchase? I am currently on the hunt for Kodachrome that has been stored in such condition that the film should not suffer too much degradation and would still be suitable for color processing?

hi Steve -
I should have about 10 rolls of K25 like that, if you are interested. Probably a couple K64 also.

thanks

uhhhh...how you planning on getting the film processed?

Even poorly stored vs. well stored E6 is no better than the processing lab, where you still have a choice of where to send the film.

Stephen (a lab owner and photographer) has processed Kodachrome (in colour!) since Dwayne's shut down the last run and in the past has done extensive work in an effort to determine if there is a market possibility.

Thx for bringing me up to date. I'm impressed with the efforts to reproduce Kodachrome processing!

Ive got about 2 or 3 rolls of K64 in my freezer, dated around 2008 from memory.
I had a bunch more I sold, in the hope people like you might be able to develop it for me!
I might be able to let go one roll

Wow, that is impressive.
Does Stephen have a thread about his Kodachrome experiments and results? I searched for his facebook page but couldn't see anything about Kodachrome (maybe I didn't look hard enough)
I have followed some of his responses in threads like
Kodachrome with Rockland Polytoner colour couplers
Very interesting stuff.
