Years ago, I used X-tol replenished and would 'season' a new batch with some from the old tank. I'm now using D-23 replenished, and I don't know if I should use some of the existing stock to 'season' a new batch. I'm using a 1-liter bottle for the stock, if that matters. I like the results I've been getting, so I plan to stick with this for a while. BTW, is Kodak's 25 rolls a good estimate for deciding when to mix a new batch?
Thanks for the help,

You could add a little of the old to season. It's D23 when fresh but becomes D25 when replenished. 25 rolls seems about right but I always used much larger volumes and we used hundreds of rolls before making fresh batches.

Ass Ian implies, replenishment does not work as well with small developer volumes. If you are using only 1 liter you might consider using a one-shot.

Thanks for the help. This is the second liter of replenished D-23 I've used since early November. Typically, I shoot 2 to 6 rolls of 35mm 36 exp a week; while it's not as large a volume as I once shot, it's still a bit much to use D-23 full strength as a one-shot. I have used it 1:1 and 1:4; both work well, but the times on 1:4 are typically 20 minutes. The 1 liter amount is just the size of the storage bottle I have; it's also the amount for a 4-reel Jobo tank that I use.
