Hello knowledgeable Ones!
I acquired a RH Design Analyser (AN1, Ser. no 290). It appears to have settings for two papers, only. Through trial and error I have found access to some of the available settings:
1) CAL.1 and CAL.2 are the two available settings for papers, accessible by hitting "focus" when in calibration mode, factory settings for Ilford Multigrade IV RC Deluxe are built in.
2) safelight can be set to be on or off when measuring via hitting "print" in calibration mode, but seem to stay on during printing by default. I would prefer them to stay off during printing, though
3) there seems to be no beep available?
4) there seems to be no further modes of user configuration?
The link on the RH design site to the manual of the original Analyser appears to be dead, unfortunately (" If yours is older than that please use this version (928KB)" (https://rhdesigns.co.uk/user-manuals/rhdesigns.co.uk/darkroom/Analyser_UM_2CAL.pdf).
I am a happy user of a RH Design StopClock Pro (older model again with two channels, only 1/4 stop steps, no dry down compensation) so this predominantly to check if the workflow with an analyser might suit me.
I am asking if anyone has a manual to the first model Analyser to share with me, or
can give me some further insights into the model specifics of operation. I do have the manuals to the later models. As I am using a Color head (Omega D5 XL with Super Chromega Dichroic II head) I expect some calibration to adapt to the built in settings for use of Ilford under the lens filters.
Thanks a lot,
happy holidays,
R.
