Hello All:I recently was given a Seagull 203 120 Rangefinder folder. The contrast between the blue and yellow filters that are used for the rangefinder focusing have faded and I am having trouble trying to focus an image even in bright daylight. Is there any way or method to replace one or both filters that would increase the image contrast so that I can focus accurately?.

Thanks in advance,

Doug:smile:

Here is something that might help.

I tried this on two Kodak Signet 35's, and it works. One went from a fairly dim rangefinder image to a reasonably good rangefinder image; the other went from "there's a rangefinder in this thing?" to dim. Eventually, I'll have to replace the beam splitter on these cameras, as they only get worse with age.
