Gie her some drones, Andy and a bag tae blaw in and with the wind in the right direction she'll be heard doon tae the 49th. πŸ™‚The chanter is of course a vital part of an instrument classified as a weapon of war

Next stop for her is Mount Florida station and then Hampden Park to provide pre-match musical entertainment for the southern neighbours in that always friendly gemme o' fitbaw πŸ˜„

By the way, it is rumoured that Police Scotland have now adapted the breathalyser to play Scotland the Brave when the person blawing intae the bag gets beyond the prescribed limit for a "pass" It's part of their attempt to "lighten the proceedings" with a bit of humour

😁

She's been a piper since the age of 9. She used to be in The Bonnie Bluebells. Later on, Simon Fraser pipe band (world champions) tried to poach her. In the video, you saw her playing her chanter, which she hadn't played for decades.

My first thought was. "That doesn't look like Scotland, but it was pretty dry when I was there in the spring."

Cool!

Good for her. Canada has a long and worthy tradition of pipe bands

We use bagpipes to cause terror in the souls of our southern neighbours πŸ˜‰
