What will the weather be at this time of the year?
That will be our earliest visit to Scotland so far.

At a total guess and in teh absence of other replies thus far, my experiences of the north of England suggest mixed weather. Could be blustery and rainy or sunny, or cold or any combination of the lot

Its Scotland and you wont knoe until you get closer to the time of visit. even then ou wont really know until you get there and even then it could change quickly. Autumn and spring can be wonderufl in the UK due to the mad flux of weather. You can get amazing light, with storm clouds, suddne sunshine etc but you can often bevery disappointed with endless low cloud and drizzle too. Its a gamble. Look in my gallery and see the shot 'Autumn storm'. this may be N wales and may be Autumn, but its the kind of thing I am talking about. Shortly before the shot I got a little wet. Shortly after the shot, I got wet again.

It has been very mixed this past 10 days with some of the worst snow of the winter on Mon-Wed last week followed by a glorious weekend with temperatures of 16C and clear blue skies. Forecast is for a bit of a mixture over the next couple of weeks until mid-April, so anybody's guess. Depending on where you are going, the east will probably be drier than the west.

The past week has been very good, the chart looks ok for the next week or so too.
April here is fantastic in terms of light(assuming you are coming with camera gear) granted the weather can be a little "changeable" ;-) but worth the effort I would say.

I feel I must point out that I may be somewhat biased!!
