Hello,

I really like the Xenar lenses from Schneider from the 90s on my 4x5 cameras. I have the 150 mm and the 210 mm lens. The most recent brochure from Schneider from the 90's that I am aware of also only includes these two lenses. But before that there were Xenar lenses with 300 mm for a long time. I would also like to have one of these, but it should also be as young as possible. Do you know until when the Xenar with 300 mm was produced? So I can estimate approximately up to which serial number range I should search.

Thanks for your help and best regards from Germany

I found images that show lenses with serial numbers from 1988/1989. So I should be able to find one with the age of my lenses. Sorry for opening the thread, next time I‘ll do a better research before I ask.
