Hello everyone,

I just aquired this heavy, bulky monster of a lense and was wondering, how many of these things are even out there, since it’s kind of a special tool I’d say.

However, having shot my first RF with it and tilting and shifting like there’s no tommorow I have to say that this thing is very sharp, the bokeh is lovely and there’s no vignetting as far as I can tell.

Now I was wondering: Does anyone here own, have owned or used this lense? I’m paritcular interested in how many of these have even been produced.

I understand that this is a very old post, but I am interested in this lens. I find it hard to find sample photos from this lens. Can anyone provide any?

I took that picture of the UT Austin tower some years ago (2019.. time flies) with that lens. Bubble level ro keep the camera (Hy6 with Credo 80) horizontal, and just some upwards shift for the lens. Filter was Kolari hot-mirror 95mm. Lens is very sharp, provides good contrast, and I wish I used it more often despite its weight.

Nice picture! It's refreshing to see architecture photos without the converging vertical lines. I'm surprised how many current photographers don't understand the concept.
