hello!

i was wondering, as i couldnt find info online, about the magnification range of this lens?
any further info would be appreciated.
would it be possible to do 60x70" enlargement?
and about the price..?

thanks a bunch,
chris

The reciprocal of 0.04 is 25, so it theoretically magnifies or enlarges 25 times within its published specs. What size is your negative? I'd probably choose something else for big enlargements from medium format.

"Magnification 0.5 – 0.04"

It's here:

Used price varies. I almost bought a fungus infected one for about $90 but passed (I would never buy a lens with fungus). They generally sell for a few hundred on the used market. I believe you can still buy them new, if you want to.

thanks for your comment.
i found a used one in very very good condition for 350 euros.. still hesitating, on the other hand, its not gonna loose value i guess..
cheers

hello!

negative is 6x7 (mamiya rz67).
another user on this forum mentioned the possibility to use a lens that i already own, and use as a taking lens.
the mamiya sekor z 110mm 2.8.
so i built an adaptor to mount it on the durst m800.
its pretty good actually on the big scale, not excellent though..!
but standard size prints were not successful with it at all, even my sh**ty rodenstock trinar was better on the small scale.
so, i am looking at this schneider apo hm lens to do tack sharp 10x15" and go 4-5x bigger whenever i want to without sacrificing image quality.
i know that might be a crazy thing to expect from one lens.. maybe..

rodagon g is too expensive for me..

thanks for any advice..
chris
