Hi Kirk

So you're not a fan of wet mounting? If I could ask, why you stated that?
Indeed betterscanning make a good product...

Thank Kirk, is there a reason you think the betterscanning unit is better. It does look more flexible in its use as you can dry and wet mount using the one holder. I'm curious as to how the scanscience holder doesn't drip fluid on the scanner glass as there does not appear to be a bottom layer of glass/mylar as the betterscanning and epsom method.

Cheers

In my experience the Better Scanning products are well designed and durable and well priced.

But I'm biased since I'm a Better Scanning customer.

I've read Ctein's write up of the Scan Science products in Photo Technique magazine and I don't understand why he hasn't evaluated the Better Scanning products. The Better Scanning products are very well made. It's my understanding that the Scan Science holders are made from card board but I maybe totally wrong about that.

Thanks Don,
Sound like best to stick with the Betterscanning option. At least I can see what you get on the web site.

Cheers
Shane

As I said I've used (actually owned) both and the Better Scanning solution is simply a better setup. Both will work but.........
