I posted this over on Hybridphoto but didn't get too many uselful replies.

For portraiture I tend to use lustre paper and need some professional scans for a client.

Are lustre papers suitable for scanning or does the sheen show up during the scan?

When uploading your photos to the gallery, what paper finishes work best?

Thanks.

The simple answer is try it, lustre paper isn't a flat surface. I only scan from natural gloss fibre based papers, but a glossy RC paper will be far better if a high quality scan is required..
