First post here, so thank you in advance for your help. I have this issue with my scanner when I try to scan shots that are a little underexposed they leave dark horizontal lines. I am using a Canonscan fs4000us scanner on VueScan, multiexposure, and 1 pass @ 4k DPI. These horizontal lines look similar to "banding" issues I have seen on other threads however, in my case the lines seem to be much wider than the ones I have seen on different threads. It is very annoying because the negative itself doesnt have these lines in them. Another thing I find frustrating is when I use the "Preview" button on Vuescan and save that specific file it does not have the same issue. This has me at my wits end and any insight would be super helpful. I will attatch an example of the "Scan" with the banding and the "Preview" that seems to lack the banding. This has been a very consistent issue with many of my scans. Thanks!
