I have an Epson 4870 and have only used the Epson software with it. When I scan cross-processed film, it tends to make it look sorta normal. How do I turn off all the automatic stuff? And is that what I need to do to get the "best" results from cross-processed stuff?

Epson Scan:
Set Mode=Professional
Configuration->Color->No Color Correction
I uncheck all the boxes in Adjust panel (Unsharp Mask,Descreening, Color Restoration, Backlight Correction, Dust Removal, ICE)
