I stand corrected—I was sure I remembered the software offering me a lower max resolution in 8x10 mode, but I just checked and 4800 dpi is there. Sorry for the confusion.

I actually scan with an Epson 3200, but I had to hack the drivers to make it work on Windows 10 and 11. Right now I'm doing historical things from WWII (my parent's negatives) but I've done my 4x5 film on it as well. It came with holders for 6x9 cm, 4x5 inch, 35 mm in strips, and slides, but I have been looking for something that does 6x4.5 cm. I've tried scanning right on the glass and it works if not perfectly sharp. Does anything exist ready-made? What about 3-d printing?
