How do you scan your pictures? In grayscale or colour mode?

One more question - does exist any way how to scan negativs with the comon flat table scaner?

thanks

JK

Hi Juraj,

I scan in colour mode because sometimes my prints have warm tonality which I want to retain in the scan.

Regarding flatbed scanner, there are many of them which have a negative holder which you place on top of the glass surface and then in the scanner's software you have an option to choose negative as a source.

Regards,
Kate

I feel that placing a mirror or shiny metal surface at the back of the negative will help a lot.
That's how my Olympus ES-10 works...

But you need at least a 1200 dpi scanner IMO (for prints 300 will do).
