Feeling a bit stretched after Uncle Sam tapped you for taxes? Do not despair. You can skimp on a camera and buy good glass that can do double-duty with a digital camera or good film SLR further down the road!

It seems that a lot of folks will buy the great camera and skimp on the lens. While all the features of a good film or digital SLR are enticing, it's really the glass that's making the image. Good glass will outlive several iterations of a camera line these days. Consider buying a simpler camera and good lenses while you wait for that big tax refund or lucky lotto ticket!
