I'm looking to sell an enlarger, which I'm just honestly never going to set up and use myself - it was my dad's, I made a lot of prints on it over the years, but now it's just gathering dust.

The enlarger is a Saunders LPL Super Dichroic 4500 Il, with baseboard, timers, grain focusers, assorted filters, etc.

Lenses:

Schneider-Kreuznach f/5.6 150mm (mounted)
Spiratone Resomax, f/2.8 50 mm
Spiratone resomax f/4.5 90mm

It has a 4x5 negative carrier, that was all Dad printed for the last several years - the others (120, 35mm) seem to have gotten lost in transition somewhere.

I'm hoping to get $2000/1500 1250 for it, but will be open to negotiation. I'm located in Maryland (near DC), and local pickup will be required for this - I've had bad experiences shipping big/bulky/valuable items recently.

how possible does it look (to you) to be able to detach that baseboard and re-surface it?
Easy. The enlarger is just bolted on, so it could be disassembled. The baseboard should just need a thorough cleaning, but you could re-surface it if you wanted to.

Donated to a community darkroom where it will be used to teach new photographers the wonders of alchemy! Dad would have liked that, I think.

Very generous of you. I’m sure your Pop would be glad that his gears be used to teach others.

Sorry you couldn't make a sale happen, but that sounds like a very cool solution. Kudos to you.
