Hi Folks,
A buddy of mine has asked me to help liquidate his darkroom. All items are in excellent condition as far as I can tell. I just took a few pics and a little inventory of what’s there. I believe it was mostly bought new in the late 1980s and has seen little use and has been in storage for 20 years or so as his busy medical career left him little time to play in the darkroom. He’s moved and is close to retirement and has no room in the new place to set it up unfortunately and wants it out of his garage or there could be a showdown with his wife
He is motivated to put this in the hands of someone who could use it and is graciously willing to deliver the lot basically between Denver and Salt Lake City or a 250 mile radius from Palisade Colorado (Grand Junction area). He would like $950.00 or best offer for the whole lot. Please don’t ask to part it out. It’s pretty much a turnkey darkroom ready for someone to put to use, basically you just need to get some paper and chemicals and get to work!
Here’s a list of what is available I inventoried, there is more misc stuff as well. Assume all stuff is in good to like new condition.
2 4x5 enlargers. One is a Beseler 45MXT, one is a Beseler 45MX II. Elevation motors work, both excellent.
1 Aristo Cold light, very little use works great. Is controlled with a Metrolux II timer with foot switch, enlarger meter and light output compensation probe. Looks brand new.
3 lenses. 1 50mm Rodagon, 1 135mm Rodagon, 1 150mm APO Gerogon.
35mm, 6x6, 6x7, 4x5 negative carriers
6 lens boards with light pipe.
1 Bestwell Microsight and 1 Patterson grain focuser.
Ilford MG and Kodak Polycontrast under lens filters with filter holder and red light filters as well.
11x14 paper safe
11x14 Beseler Universal 4 blade easel
1 sink that looks to hold about 3 16x20 trays
6 drying screens, misc trays and developing stuff, misc books
2 Jobo 4x5 reels and tank with loader base, 120 and 35mm stainless reels and tanks
That’s about all that I looked at yesterday but there could be more misc stuff I missed. If you are interested or know anyone that may be interested in this lot let me know. He’s motivated to move this out and it really is some good stuff. Please forgive the photos as I did not have time to properly document everything and just took some iPhone snaps but rest assured he took good care of his gear.
