Did YOU ever try a Durst M35 Micromat w/a spotlight bulb (similar to the original slide-projecter bulb)? It gives you the sharpness & subtleties of a B&W slide in your print. What enlarger can you be referring to? And what's the big deal for 35mm? (The "L" I referred to is the lens, not the enlarger, which I think is tops). I also have the original AN carrier for the Durst. Whoever sees prints from my mighty Durst or 1c always prefer the Durst by a long shot. That sounds self-incriminating. But the best enlarger ever made for 35mm happens to also be the best ever made for 5x7 on down. And it doesn't
start with an "L". Only rich B's think that way. If you're taller than the enlarger itself, you have yet to meet an adult enlarger.
