Can you use Ilford Rapid Fix or similar to fix salted paper prints, instead of pure sodium thiosulfate?

I'm asking because it's easier for me to get the ilford bottled stuff.

No. The ammonium thiosulfate in any rapid fix will bleach the image.

If you gold tone it to completion before fixing it might work, but I am still using very very dilute rapid fix to bleach back highlights!
