You can get both from Fototechnik Suvatlar. The fact that some store took it off their shelves means little in this context, it's not like Stannous Chloride is such a commonly used compound in photo chemistry, and E6 is not the most popular process either.

Mail order is bad for brick shops we used to have three photo shops in local village... now we have six smart phone shops.

Also, the fact that Borax can no longer be poured down the drain in massive amounts and is therefore no longer available in drug stores says nothing about its availability to photo amateurs. It's a minor inconvenience, not a road block. Most recipes use a few grams per liter, so its price is inconsequential.

The grocery store is a lot nearer then the photo shop, when I run out, see last above.

To people warning about potential long term health effect of Acetic Acid I say the same thing as to people warning about mobile phones: there is an ongoing voluntary study with a sample size in excess of one billion about these effects running for over a decade with no obvious conclusions. As David Plainview would have said: "Those areas have been drilled."

Fish (cod) and chips with vinegar to excess and salt to excess used to be our national dish, so we have indeed done a long term survey, rather then longer than a decade, however the medical types are curtailing salt in all packaged foods.

ii) Our national dish is now Muslim curry or Hindu curry, some curry houses will serve either on selection.
iii) The north sea is now getting to warm for the cod to breed, it was marginal in the past.
iv) It took 20 years for the cigarette statistics to become statistically significant.

Mail order may be bad for local shops, but there isn't a local photography shop that sells chemicals within a hundred miles of me - literally.

I'd say mail order is the saviour of film photography. It's no good bleating on that you can't buy this or that locally or what used to be the case, when you can have virtually anything delivered to your door tomorrow.
