OMG that is a sad story. We are in the same boat with some of our old prepress equipment. We have a really nice DS drum scanner and a Polaroid Polaproofer sitting in our basement collecting dust. Every time we send stuff to the metal recycler the owner thinks about but can't bring himself to do it.

That's something else that costs a leg and an arm here and next to nothing there: drum scanners.

I wish I could collect yours.

To be honest, I'd collect one if someone want's to get of it. I know that people don't want big and heavy enlargers and want rather smaller ones. If I spot such person I definitely will take one to my darkroom.

I believe the sad part, in your case, was seeing your enlarger going away in the hands of a jackass...

Cheers,
Flavio

P.S.: if you ever have to get rid of another one of those for that cheap, I'll fly to wherever you are and the lunch/dinner/beer will be on me.
the beer-part could cost you big time.

Unfortunately the 70mm cinema revival that has been taking place for certain movies is sadly going to expire as the available equipment dies off.
