Hello,

Is it possible to use 'other' lenses on my RZ pro II ? I'm also the proud owner of a Sl66se and like to horse around with magnifying glasses and stuff. This works like a charm with the SL; but with the RZ ?? Or is this a rather stupid question:smile:

greetings

k.hendrik

You can use RB lenses without any modifications. SKGrimes specializes in making all sorts of adapters.... maybe you can contact someone there.

I'm sure you could but the RZ lenses are great and cheap as heck now so why bother?

It's not really viable, since the RZ doesn't have a focal plane shutter or provisions for one. You could do it with manual lenses that have their own shutters but mounting and triggering them would be challenging.

Thanks for your answers ! In an ideal world(camerawise) I could mutual exchange lenses and bodies; my beautiful G2 + 28 & 90mm > FM + 1.4:85 > RZ67+50+110+180+250 > SL66SE+80> Praktica MTL-3 + 1.8:50. Or am I dreaming of a world that never exists ? An Eden where Eve hates apples ? I know the shutter is in the lens; but is there a way to get around that ? Didn't know SKGrimes: thanks. "why bother"? just because
