To the folks in my group - I ask for your patience..

The semester is closing and last time I was at home and had the chance to print, I fell down the stairs and bend my ankle on the way to the darkroom - pulled my ligaments due to that. There was not much sense in printing that nighe.

This was two weeks ago and I won´t be at home for another 3 weeks due to my student schedule.

Please show some patience and mercy. ;-)

I got a great panorama from Clayton yesterday ... Wow ... Clayton, I saw this image on your homepage before and thought, I would like to see this in original. Well, I did not know that thought-reading works over such a long distance  Amazing!

Hi to all the members of Group 5!
Your prints have just been sent!

I've already received the print from John. In fact, there were two prints, and I assume one of them is the late print from the previous Group Print Exchange. Actually, it's very nice to receive two prints from the same person at the time, especially when they are beautiful!
Suzanne wrote in a post about the Blind Print Exchange round 2 that she sent a summer print to John, who is now in the middle of the south hemisphere winter : in fact, I had the same idea, but reversed, and sent a "frozen" print in the middle of my summer. I just forgot that one my recipient is living in the south...

Cheers,
Skander

To my group: dlin, Bob Carnie, gr82bart

I was waiting for more matboard to arrive to mat your prints, but they are back-ordered until the end of July so I will buy some mats locally and then ship them out at the beginning of next week.

My prints will be sent out tomorrow to mikeg and claytume. So it should arrive next week in England and maybe a week later in New Zealand. Unfortunately I still have no address from Pats.

And I broke the rule and sent to prints each just because I have been in the mood of doing so.

ciao

Dylder, Suzanne, Dylder. Hi each, my Round 5 - Group 8 prints went into the post today. Sorry for the delay.

DELAY!! You are way ahead of all the rest of us!! I have an image selected, but won't be able to print until middle of the month when the kiddlies finally have a few weeks of camp. I expect to get things in the mail by about the deadline at the end of July. Hope that's ok with all in group 8!?!

Cheers,
Suzanne

Woohoo!

I got home this evening and found an absolutely beautiful print by Gene LaFord waiting for me. Wonderful job Gene, thanks!

I'll mount and frame it this weekend.

As did I, a wonderful print to go alongside Bob's flower shot that my girlfriend claims to be fake. (I know it is real.....)

My prints will be out soon. I have taken on alot of new things lately, and am unsure what I want to send out, I started 4x5 contacts, matting my own stuff... When I fugure it out, you two will be the first to see it.

I always wonder why more people don't join these exchanges.

Thanks
Will

This morning was like a little christmas for me. I got two parcels. One from the UK (Leon) and one from Canada (Iain). Thank you both so much. Both prints are very beautiful. Leon can I ask what grade filter you used for printing? Iain, thank you very much for the detailed information you sent with it. An interesting technique and I've learned something new.
As promised, I will finally have access again to the darkroom next week and will post both yours and Joe's prints off by the end of July.
Thank you again.
Cheers
Nicole

I am heading to the post office now to mail out my prints, but....

Bob Carnie: I don't have your mailing address so I mailed it to your lab.

Just got your package Joe.
And a fine print it is. Just a slight dent in the Agfa packaging, but the print and mount survived without the slightest damage. Looks like Canada Post is losing it's not so delicate touch. (just kidding  )
Very nice and well done, but I won't spoil the rest of the groups surprise by telling what the image is...
