I got Bob's "conversation" about his address this morning, but today is a national holiday in Japan, so it looks like the camera will go in the mail tomorrow!

Today is February 17 and the camera has arrived! From Japan to the middle of Canada in just 6 days! Now if only I can make my shots and move the camera along that fast

There is a jack rabbit that visits our back yard regularly. I could substitute the rabbit for the chicken

But where are you going to get a Jobo big enough to handle a 1m-diameter concrete storm drain?

I'll just roll it down the hill past my house. Then use my truck to drag it back up.

Save some chickens, I suppose...

Too late ! :whistling: Ate some covered steamed chicken with spices, and fettuccine verde...

But the camera is moving, and this is great news !!!

BTW, Rachelle, how did you manage the batteries shipping problem, finally ?

I couldn't send them. The post office people are really anal about batteries, despite what the official literature says about shipping them. That said, the batteries were down to their last power bar, so they would have needed replacing soon anyway...

Funny, I put a fresh battery in before I shipped the camera. Well, I guess it has been in a while.......

Wake up everybody! Tomorrow will be one month since the last post. Any updates from the great north? The tasty chickens are getting restless, or are the restless chickens are getting tasty

Yeah, Mike, you're right ! I was also to the point of making a "wake-up" post myself.

So, it would be great if we can hear some news from Gentleman Bob (walbergb) !

With the help of new APUG's popup profil, we know that walbergb was last seen March 12th. Unfortunately, we can't learn what he's wearing at this time.
Guess, as he is in Manitoba, it's probably big anorak and a Stetson hat...

Are you kidding? It's spring now! Once the temperature gets over 0 C, well, that's t-shirt weather! (speaking as a former Manitoban)

Ya, the camera hasn't moved from the shelf where I put it when it arrived. Bad timing. I'll spare you the details, but I know you would understand. You can expect the camera to move on to Matt in the next week or two.

No problem , I think people here are used to be patient.. It's OK as long as the dogs haven't ate the camera :D
