Today is February 17 and the camera has arrived! From Japan to the middle of Canada in just 6 days! Now if only I can make my shots and move the camera along that fast

Ate some covered steamed chicken with spices, and fettuccine verde...But the camera is moving, and this is great news !!!
BTW, Rachelle, how did you manage the batteries shipping problem, finally ?

I couldn't send them. The post office people are really anal about batteries, despite what the official literature says about shipping them. That said, the batteries were down to their last power bar, so they would have needed replacing soon anyway...

Funny, I put a fresh battery in before I shipped the camera. Well, I guess it has been in a while.......
There is a lot of reasons to be optimistic, camera has travelled almost an half of its journey 
!

Ya, the camera hasn't moved from the shelf where I put it when it arrived. Bad timing. I'll spare you the details, but I know you would understand. You can expect the camera to move on to Matt in the next week or two.
