I plan to visit the Wurzburg area soon, with a couple of days in the town of Rothenburg (ob de Tauber). I remember from a previous visit here that I have seen a vintage camera shop somewhere, but I do not recall where. Anyone knowledgeable of the area can point me to such shop in Rothenburg, if any in this town, please?

Thank you !

I don’t remember seeing one.
If there is one and I missed it I’ll have to go back and seek it out.

Enjoy Rothenburg it’s a wonderful place.
Wurzburg is quite interesting too, the Residence and gardens are worth a visit.

If you are passing through Cologne there is a camera shop right in front of the Dom on the train station plaza. They had a good selection of interesting vintage cameras. I hope it’s still there.

I was there about 25 years ago, incredible! Absolutely amazing..I don't remember any shops in particular, we had dinner, it was lovely.
And Cologne. I bought some postcards at the Dom. It was the only thing left standing following the Allied bombing, horrible. Sure is nice today. Good taverns and music.

Well, I plan to repeat the exceedingly good experience I had the last time I went there. And that includes of course visiting the very beautiful schloss in Würzburg. As cameras are concerned, I will have an OM1 and Nikon FM3A with me, with a Retina 1a as backup. Not much colour film, but quite a good number of Rollei 80s and Adox HR50. I hope it will be sunny, for these films sake

I'm in Rothenburg once a year for their annual Imperial City Days, which celebrate the towns history through various epochs. I never noticed a camera shop, let alone one for old cameras. Not in the historic centre, anyway. I asked a resident friend, and he doesn't know either.
