Someone has used this old thank? It's necessary to continue to turn
the grip handle in order to develop the film?
What to make for the films that demand an agitation alternate with a pause period?

Thanks

Ciao

Once I can find the right gear/motor/belt combination, I'm going to hook mine up to a DC motor. I'll put up plans or photos once I get done.

The recommended method of operating the Rondinax tank is to give the agitation knob sharp, stuccato-like small turns. It was only quite recently that Jobo discovered that this mode of rotary agitation is superior to the constant rolling, and the feature was incorporated into the DuoLab. While the idea of adding motorised operation is indeed appealing, I would definitely consider this as a necessity in the design of the motor mechanism.

Wow. I had no idea. I wonder if a cam mechanism in the belt line would do that. Then again for the effort and money put into finding out, I can just stand there and turn the thing. :D
