I bought these two items separately. The lens will not fasten to the body mount. The lens is a two or three pin, so is a newer model and should fit the camera because they were made in about the same time period. It is a QBM II,III,or IV. It will only turn to about 10 O'clock and is completely tight. It feels as if a great deal of force would be required to go further and I believe would cause a great deal of damage. Neither the camera monut or the lens mount appear to br damaged, in fact both appear as though they have never been used. I would very much appreciate some advice on this perplexing prblem. I only have one Rolleinar and the plate on the back of the lens (that forms the majority of the locking mechanism) was bent. It seemed to be made of weaker metal than the Zeiss lenses. In my case it made the lens too loose. Removing the ring and straightening it made the lens fit perfectly.

Rollinar rear lens plate

Thanks for your prompt reply. I will check it again for flatness It should be an easy job removing the plate. I am judging by my rather limited experience disassembling Petri ,Miranda & Olympus lenses.
