Thanks. That sets my mind at ease. I wanted to use him because it’ll add a bit of prestige to the camera so I don’t mind paying extra just not to much extra.He did less work to my 2.8 E about 10 years ago and it set me back $450 or so, so this is probably about right for today -- as i recall the quickie things -- tighten baseplate thingy, and so on -- were $25 back there so I suspect his hourly rate has gone up.
You get a brand new camera back ... price a brand new rolleiflex some time. What-they don't make them any more? Well, there you are.
