HI,

I have a Rolleiflex 3.5 MX Type 4. I had an accident with the camera last week and now the viewing hood is not functional and I'm looking for a replacement.

Anyone know if this part is universal and can be switched from a different model of Rolleiflex?
Or do I need to just look for another 3.5 MX viewing hood?

cheers,
Merlyn

Eh, fussy thing. The screw hole spacing is pretty consistent, but the front extension and hinge design varies over the years. I don't knowspecific models well enough to call out an answer. One thing to watch for is the name plate- is there a hollow space in back for a spring mechanism?

What happened to it? Maybe post photos and a description of what is wrong and someone can tell you what to bend or such.
