I am selling a Rolleiflex T.

The camera appears to be in fairly good shape with two minor issues. I am unable to set the shutter speed longer than 2 seconds, but if you know the T this is essentially inconsequential since 2 seconds and longer are really all B settings i.e., timed by the user -(the "green" speeds - see the manual for details). So the shutter speeds in a practical sense range from B to 1/500 and they all seem correct. The taking lens looks clean and clear under ordinary light, but the severe test of a bright backlit flashlight seems to reveal some dust specs, very minor coating scratches, and possibly a thin, very light haze or dust layer (I have not attempted to clean the lens). I sincerly doubt any of this would affect results, which I predict will be outstanding. The self timer works. I have not tested the flash contacts. The viewing screen looks to be very bright and clean.

This camera cosmetically is a real beauty and I'm sure will take thousands of fantastic photos for the new owner! I have set a favorable price. Sold as shown.

Price: $340 plus actual insured USPS shipping. I only accept personal checks, money orders, or cash - no electronic payment method whatsoever.

i have a t that also stops at 2 seconds. a technician told me it was normal for T’s without meters to come this way because everything underneath 1 is effectively bulb and the numbers just correspond to ev values for metering. i had klinkhamer from de camera overhaul the shutter on mine and he did not alter this, and dan daniels mentioned it would be a thing they do for meterless T’s. and then when they add the meter, presumably at the rollei factory, they opened up that low end ev scale to correspond with meter readings. maybe someone else can chime in.

anyway, excellent price on the T. they often come with very good ground glass, the bright rolleiclear with large center microprism or the also very good late model split image screen that came with F models

The Rolleifle T doesn't have a 2 second speed setting. In fact, no Rollei TLR has. The lowest speed is 1 second. Often as not this is not entirely accurate - my two Ts were recently tested as being slightly slower on the 1 second mark, by my repair centre. I didn't have anything done to them - the test was entirely for my own information, so it seems.

Agree with poster #2 that your T is a super good deal. It's probably a Series II from the 1960s, the black model, newer than the older grey models which are 1950s and now regarded as rather ancient, but often as not still very usable.

Very best of luck with your sale. I predict it won't stay unsold for very long...

The SN is T2168633 According to the "Rolleiclub" Website, this Rolleiflex model is a:

Model K8 T2

Made from:

July 1961 - July 1966

Production quantity: 43.000 pieces all black leather

So yes, this appears to be a relatively "modern" F3.5 series Rolleiflex.
