I have 10 Rolleiflex straps, and 7 sets of original Rolleiflex alligator clips, and rivets for clips.

The 10 straps are made from original alligator clips, and replaced brand new leather assembled by a leather craftsman to original specs in terms of length and adjustment holes and such.

The straps are very comfortable - and I use them with my Rolleiflex cameras.

I also attached a rivet with a star on it for some flare.

Why did I make so many straps? Because I had the opportunity to buy 20 or so alligator clips, and it was a project. Plus, it's important to use straps with leather that's not 60-years-old - the old leather can tear easily.

I'm not making any profit on these.

Each strap is $75 shipped CONUS.

And the clips alone are $45 shipped CONUS

Please also consider buying a copy of my limited-edition, printed in Iceland, 92 duo-tones, Photo Book shot with Rolleiflex cameras - Never Seeing Nothing - for $35 a copy shipped, signed and numbered.

Ok I bought one of these straps.....I'll let you know if they are any good. At least they sound good. Owning a Rollei is like owning a BMW...always in the shop and nothing cheap. Now I need to find a reasonably priced black/satin lens cap.

I bought the strap...and it's very nice. Old rollei straps have always given me the shivers. This is good insurance.

Thanks! Glad you like it. I've been friends with the leather craftsman who puts these together for me for about 12 years. The ones I bought from him back then are still going strong and looking like new. And I agree, having a strap with fresh leather is very important. And I like having the OEM alligator/scissor clips made in Germany on the end - they're much better than the knock-off ones.

If I had a 2.8F or one of the Rollei's that have studs on the side for a slip on fastener, I would not probably have a strap with the scissor clips. Leather cases are a PITA.

Hey Dan, did you miss my post looking for a couple of rollei clips?

I have to admit, the various clip configurations and which Rollei they'll work on have always confused me. Will these straps work on an MX-EVS?

Thanks!
