Hello, I was wondering if anyboy has a clue on where to find adapters to attach a strap to a rollei, I've seen on ebay some folks that sell strap with adapters that looks new, I wonder where they get them from.....anyone?
here's an exemple:

The adapters here looks new, there must be someone that still produce them right?
So those adapters that I ponted are not exactly like the originals? I don't get it.
I have two modern straps with modern recreations of the old gator-style clips that I use on my 2.8E and my Tele. The ones I have are Chinese made, about 1" wide, with a rubber gripper pad roughly in the middle of the strap. They're heavy-duty cotton webbing, and while they could be prettier, for the money they're fantastic. I want to say I paid about $35 each for them off Amazon. And the gator clip works extremely well - I've not had one come loose on me in all my travels with my Rolleis. I carry the cameras around with me often at home, and then I take them on the road whenever I travel as well.
http://www.amazon.com/For-Rolleiflex-Neck-Strap-New/ is the strap I've bought.
Good to know, I have heard varying reports locally about the Chinese alligator clips, nice to hear of somebody deploying them in real life who hasn't had a Rolleiflex come crashing to the ground as a result. I might investigate them further in the future.
you can sell the change the leather of original strap.
I did this with a Korean manufacturing strap

A strap so nice that I bought it twice. But for the 3.5F a White face, I splurged on this one:FWIW, The strap shown in #7 seems to used a wide leather section to attach to the camera. Seems like a good idea to me.
