However, as you recommanded, a cable of 50cm or longer is more handy when it comes to cable release.

For future reference: The only Rollei TLRs that you might have a problem with fitting a cable release are the pre-war style Rolleicords. The thread is the same, but the the cable release needs to have a short small and slim "head".
