I am attracted to the design and its beater look but as always I do not need an another TLR. Are you guys using this camera? How much you have paid for it?

Is it the Rolleiflex Standard you're talking about? They are fine cameras, but slow to focus due to the low gear in the focus mechanism. You'll have to turn the focus knob back and forth many times before you think you have the correct focus, even if you use the loupe. It doesn't "snap" into focus like with the Rolleiflex Automat or Rolleicords.

I use mine quite a lot. It is from 1945-46 era. I didn't pay for it at all. It was a gift rom a dear friend

who could no longer use it

It attracts a lot of attention when I am using it public.

I just had one given to me by a man from Bremen... he has a pastry bakery in Lake Placid N.Y. An Automat from 1948-9; I also have a prewar Standard.
I like them, the square prints can be fun. Beautiful cameras.

One that went for auction in ebay during last weekend was stunning. Unfortunately I was not the highest bidder.
