How do the three lenses score against each other? I am under the impression the MF<AF<AFD, from random photos on the internet, but I am certainly not certain...

They are made for different cameras:

6008i or Pro = manual focus
6008AF = AF
Hy6 = AFD

All are exceptional as far as image quality goes. I believe the lenses are identical except for the AF and AFD functions. If you have a Rollei that will take any of the above lenses, the main difference is the manual-focus one will most likely be the most robust, having less complexity. And more serviceable for the same reason, plus the dire lack of parts and service for Rollei SLR gear here in the U.S. and maybe even Europe.

Thanks, but what about image quality?

Here is the MTF curve reported by Rollei. But what would one compare it to? Has anyone ever make a lens like this before?

Well, I meant to compare the lenses to each other. On Rolleiflex6000.eu it says that later lenses are better.

I guess Zeiss Jena Sonnar was the first of its kind.
