For sale is a superb Rolleiflex 3.5F, serial number 2296***, making it a late Type 3 from circa 1965-66. This one features the 6-element F3.5 Zeiss Planar lens. It is also fitted with a very bright Maxwell focusing screen (the all-matte Hi Lux version).

The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition, with only a few tiny finish marks. There is a very small engraving of what may be a drivers license number on the center of the crank mechanism. Both taking and viewing lenses are clean and free of haze, cleaning marks or other blemishes. In addition, the camera is perfect functionally, as it had a complete overhaul in 2017 by Manfred Mueller at International Camera Technicians in Mountain View, CA. That overhaul included a complete tear down of shutter and transport mechanisms to clean, adjust and lube with modern lubricants. The shutter mainspring was replaced, the lenses were collimated, and the meter checked. I will provide the service receipt to the buyer. This was a $500 service, and a new Maxwell screen is close to $300.

Included with the camera are the leather case with strap and meter cover, a hinged lens cap, the incident light diffuser for the meter, an aftermarket BayII hood, and an aftermarket web strap with the scissors clips.

All of this is $1095 shipped in the CONUSA. PayPal preferred, and I will cover the fees.

Thanks for looking.

I can also provide a standard Rollei screen with small rangefinder spot if you prefer this to the Maxwell screen, for $975 shipped.

Shown below are views with both screens. The difference in brightness and contrast is more obvious in indoor light situations, but the Rollei screen is reasonably bright to the corners.
